PERIOD LONDON is our business
Replacing windows in a conservation area can be a minefield of rules and regulations. Like-for-like replacement may require bespoke windows with slim double-glazing units incorporated into integral glazing bars, unlike standard double glazing with 'stick on' bars.

CONSERVATION AREAS AND LISTED BUILDINGS
Ayrton has considerable experience of replacing windows in conservation areas. We can negotiate with planning departments and steer the design through all the complex processes. We’ll liaise with Building Control officers throughout installation.

HERITAGE AND LISTED BUILDING SASH WINDOWS
Listed buildings and certain conservation areas insist that the design and materials of existing windows must be retained in the replacements. We are able to produce windows that conform to these requirements and help with the design and application process.
